2L, Biostat CT Fermenter

This laboratory-scale fermenter system can be sterilized automatically, in situ.  It can be used for both batch and continuous processes.  The fermenter has a supply unit in an open stainless steel frame to support the piping and the vessel.  It also has in-situ sterilizable culture vessels with cylindrical vessel walls made of glass.  The height/diameter ratio is approximately two to one.  The Digital measurement and control system is in a separate housing.  The capabilities include measurement and control of temperature, stirrer speed, pH-value, pO₂, aeration, foam, and level.
