            The APV Crepaco Compact Spray Dryer is specially designed to carry out a rapid conversion of various liquid products to powders in semi-industrial or pilot scale. This dryer can be applied to solutions, emulsions, slurries, or paste-like materials. It can be used for gentle drying of heat degradable product or continuous dewatering of many materials with moderate heat requirements. Also, the dryer can be used for spray cooling or crystallization of a range of molten products when applying cold air to the plant. The dryer offers easy variation of a large number of operational parameters. For instance, temperature of the drying air, particle size of the atomizer product, air and liquid pressures, feed rate, and air flow in the drying chamber can all be adjusted to suit the users needs.

Centrifugal atomizer: Disk diameter is 100mm. Variable speed of up to 35,000 min^-1

Nozzle atomizer: At 60 psi the air consumption is approximately 530 CFH

Chamber diameter: (Internal) 49”

Drying Capabilities:  Can evaporate about 28 kg/hr (water) with an inlet temperature up to about 300°C.

Drive: Main air heater 42kW, air broom heater 3kW. Requires 208 volts, 3 phase, 200-amp circuit.
