This continuous, tubular bowl centrifuge is used for both liquid/liquid and liquid/solid separation. If it is used for liquid/solid separation, the solids content in the feed must be low. This is normally below 1% by volume. The centrifuge is made out of stainless steel resulting in high strength and corrosion resistance. The parts that are most exposed to contact with abrasive particles are faced or lined with wear-resistant alloys or protective material.
