Precision Laboratory Evaporator
This evaporator is ideal for operations that require the size of the evaporator to be between pilot plant and small laboratory scale. It operates at low pressures (about 4-5 psi) and thus avoids higher temperatures required at normal pressures. The Precision Laboratory Evaporator has been used for the concentration of sugar syrup solutions, corn products and fruit juices; removal of solvents from aqueous or alcoholic solutions; studying agricultural residues of wheat and similar products; and on gelatin liquors.
