Reitz Disintegrator

Model RD 9

            The Reitz Disintegrator is a vertical hammer mill intended for crushing, grinding, pulverizing, pulping, shredding, triturating, and defiberizing. It can be used to grind semi-hard or soft material. It is stainless steel fitted to resist corrosion from harsh chemicals. Different sized screens vary the resulting product size.

Examples:       Potatoes- 1-3 tons/hr with 1/16” to 1/8” screens

6 tons/hr with ¼” screens

Carrots- 600 lbs/hr with 1/16” screens

2000 lbs/hr with 1/8” screens

Drive: 10 HP motor, 3600 rpm and pre-breaker feeder.
