            The Stokes Shelf Vacuum Chamber is for use as a vacuum shelf dryer or impregnator. As a drying chamber, it provides a safe, rapid drying environment under vacuum without agitating materials sensitive to heat and oxidation. As an impregnating chamber, it provides safe effective impregnation under vacuum or pressure conditions. The material to be processed is first loaded on trays or racks, and they are then placed on the chamber shelves. The chambers are rectangular and constructed of welded steel. Sight glass in the door provides interior visibility. Equipment on the shelf chamber includes:

1) Dial vacuum gage

2) Vacuum break valve

3) Relief valve

Capacity:         3 trays at 2’ x 2’ x 4.8”
