Young Mill 13" Junior Disc Grinder

            The 13” Young Mill is used for the reduction of analytical samples. Wet samples are best. One stationary and one rotating blade are used to shear the substance. Product size can be adjusted by turning a knob that causes the rotating blade to move closer to the stationary blade. This allows for smaller product than the Wiley mill can produce. The material travels through the hopper and is released into the center of the blades. Note that no sieves are used with this mill.
